My name is Lina, I'm a Swedish contemporary artist whose work blends raw emotion, bodypositive expression, and bold storytelling. Creativity has always been my language and I love to surround myself with contrasts: the rustic charm of Scandinavian design, the industrial roughness of raw materials, and the soft beauty of nature. These influences have shaped my artistic vision: a blend of bohemian freedom, industrial edge, and modern abstraction.
My work explores the tension between softness and strength, vulnerability and power, minimalism and detail. Inspired by tattoo culture, feminist perspectives, and the imperfect beauty of textures, every canvas becomes a visual narrative that invites reflection and conversation.
My paintings of the female body are a celebration of strength, vulnerability and diversity.
Through abstract lines, bold brushstrokes and contrasting fields of color, I portray the body as more than just a subject - as an expression of identity, freedom and self-love. Inspired by body-positivity and feminist perspectives, I allow each painting to become a manifesto of the right to exist exactly as you are.
In my work, the female body is both powerful and fragile, soft and strong, wild and still. I want the viewer to feel that the body does not need to be explained or judged, but can be experienced as an artistic language in itself. A language of shapes, shadows, rhythms and emotions.
My paintings of the female body are not just art, they are a rebellion, a celebration and an invitation to see the beauty in all forms
I'm inspired by nature in all forms, allowing each piece to hold both softness and edge. The rustic, industrial and bohemian easthetics that surround me shape my palette and composition, giving my work a distinct identity, both modern and timeless.
For me, abstraction is about freedom. The freedom to move beyond rules and proportions, to let emotions lead the way and to create something that speaks directly to the soul. In abstraction there is space tfor the unexpected, for honesty and for beauty in imperfection.
My paintings inspired by tattoo culture explore the boldness of lines, the rhythm of patterns and the stories etched into skin. Just like tattoos, each work carries layers of meaning; strength, identity, memory and transformation.
Through abstract expression and ras brushstrokes I transform the visual language of tattoo art into contemporary paintings that celebrate individuality and the beauty of what is permanent, imperfect and unapologetically real.
